Dear Winemaker,

It’s nearly harvest season. Time flies and things change. Wine labels are changing more due to a spike in interest about re-branding this year. We can recommend graphic designers if you want some help with labels that capture what you want to convey with your new brands.

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at Family Winemakers on August 23 and 24 in San Francisco. Look for our sample labels in your pack when you register. I’ll stop by to say “Hello” and see how I can support you.

Until then, I hope you’ll check out this month’s Labeltronix news:

Wishing you a relaxing August,
Bill Huey

ADD PIZZAZZ TO YOUR LABEL WITH CUSTOM EFFECTS

ADD PIZZAZZ TO YOUR LABEL WITH CUSTOM EFFECTS
Revolt against bland labels. Stand out on store shelves by adding a little pizzazz. By incorporating a visually interesting label, you'll be sure to catch the consumer’s eye. While we're known for our high quality full-color printing, Labeltronix also offers a wide variety of distinctive printing and finishing options, including:
  • Foil Stamping - Add shimmer and texture to highlight specific texts or images. Gold, silver, and other metallic colors convey an exclusive, top drawer product. , Clear or holographic foils add interest and intrigue.
  • Embossing - Create a tactile and visual sensation. Embossing relies on the application of a specially-made die under high pressure to form a raised three-dimensional impression that allows you to feel the design.
  • Die Cut - Produce a limitless range of contours - from unconventional corners to perfect circles to the outline an image or logo.
  • Metallic Ink - Showcase luster and shine. Special inks with fine reflective metallic particles create a kind of eye-popping look you can’t get from standard inks alone.

It’s said to be one of the key reasons the Australian Yellow Tail brand, with a kangaroo on the label, became one of the biggest-selling imported wines in 2005. Read More.

Getting to Know Me

Q: Why do you look so relaxed?
A: I’m just back from a week’s vacation in Las Vegas, so I’m revitalized and ready to go.

Q: Did you win?
A: Yes, but that wasn’t the point of going. We took my grandson. Rode a lot of roller coasters, and spent a lot of time in the water. One day it was 114 degrees!
