 Can the AP applicators handle a tapered Wine Bottle?
Yes, both AP applicators can apply labels to most tapered bottles as long as the labels have a die cut shape that matches the bottle’s taper.
Can you provide the die cut shape label for my tapered bottle?
Yes, we will need you to send us a sample bottle and then we will determine if we have an existing die that matches or if we will need to sell you a custom matched die.
What if I have a tapered bottle and my labels are cut with a standard rectangle shape?
The AP applicators will apply your labels, however your label may not be exactly straight. We recommend that you purchase label that are die cut to match you tapered bottle.
How many wine bottles can I label per minute?
The AP360 (Front Label Only) will label up to 20 bottles per minute.
The AP320 (Front & Back Label) will label up to 15 bottles per minute.
How large of a roll can I use?
The AP applicators will handle up to an 8” diameter roll on a 3” core.
Do my wine bottles need to be filled or empty?
The AP series applicators will apply label to both filled and unfilled bottles, however a filled (heavier) bottle is preferred.
Can the AP applicators index and register a label to an existing label of on the bottle?
Not automatically, however you can control the placement of the label by how you load the pre labeled bottle into the machine, you should find the results acceptable.
Is the AP applicator easy to operate?
Yes, simply load your bottle and press the foot petal that’s included, it’s that easy.
